I drew this earlier this year, living in Vancouver. Drawing mandala’s is my mediation :) I drew a lot of them to get me through the Canadian winter.
A collage I made a few months ago in the midst of 6 months of long distance with my partner. The moon is my constant inspiration.
I’m finally updating my website and in the process I have found all these images (that I love!) that didn’t make the final cut for the project - Bodysnatchers. Shame to let them go ‘unpublished’ so here is the first of a series of blog posts I’ll upload.
The text is from Radiohead’s song Bodysnatchers. The lyrics were broken into twelve groups of three words. The one I’m featuring today is ‘A Pale Imitation’. I created the type from found snake skin, photographed it, then to connect the image with the core message of the song, each image was ‘invaded’ with a kaleidoscope and thus overpowered by chaos.

Legs. They are so exciting. I found a great pair to cut out of a magazine the other day and decided they were too good to be made into just one collage.
So I cut out a few other interesting body parts and decided to make as many different collages out of the same pieces as I wanted to (I’m actually surprised I’ve never thought of doing this before - who said you had to glue everything down?!). I photographed the process. Below are some of my favourite creations.
(Adding that lady to anything I was working on made me laugh so much! I had to throw a before and after shot in)
Such a good remix!!!
