Such a good remix!!!
Really loving this track by Family Band.
I can’t get enough of Fritz Kalkbrenner at the moment, I’ve had him on repeat everywhere I go. This is a beautiful music clip for a beautiful song. I love the simplicity of the idea and that it’s in black and white. But most of all, I love the editing. 00:41 with the building montage - awesome!!!
It’s Shanthi’s birthday today! So to celebrate, we are playing the Number 1 songs of 1985 in the studio. We’ve all been finding out what was Number 1 on the day we were born via This Day in Music.
On the day I was born in Australia, Perfect by Fairground Attraction was Number 1!! This made me very happy, what a beautiful song to enter the world with!
One of the many benefits of having a French intern at work - she is constantly showing us inspiring things! This is beautiful. A mix of stop motion and live projection mapping techniques.
A few weeks ago, one of my lovely housemates, Clare, showed me the most amazing film clip I have ever seen. SERIOUSLY. Jon Hopkins - Vessel (Four Tet Remix).
It’s so beautifully designed. The timing and flow is perfect, and every movement is so effective. AND it just gets better and better the whole way through. Prepare to loose your shit.

Arcade Fire prove time and time again that they aren’t just great to listen to - they also make awesome film clips. This time you can watch the traditional clip (which I love) or have a lot of fun with the interactive video by Morisset.
Definitely get up off your chair to move. Would be hilarious to watch back the recordings of everyone’s movements (surely they are getting some entertainment value out of that?)!
